We’ve gathered a group of special guests from the world of illustration and animation to introduce their favourite animated moments and how they have inspired and influenced their craft.
‘HASTINGS ANIMATED’ (2PM)
A selection of work created by the very talented (and illusive) animators living and working within the local area.
‘PINK FLOYD TO PEPPA PIG’ *TALK* (3PM)
Head of the new University Centre Hastings Animation Art and Application B.A. Glen Whiting gives an illustrated talk about his career from his work on Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” to “Peppa Pig” and his ambition for the new course. Followed by Q&A.
‘GHOST STORIES’ (4PM)
Gather around the virtual campfire, get comfy and let international animation collective Late Night Work Club tell their chilling animated tales of ghosts and ghouls!

‘ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEOS’ (12PM)
Music videos have always offered a unique platform for animators to explore, experiment and show off their skills – from the technically astounding to the plain surreal, we pick our favourites!
‘ILLUSTRATORS WHO ANIMATE’ (1PM)
In a fast-moving commercial world, where moving image is now king, we explore the illustrators who have made the leap into the world of animation and how it has influenced their way of working.
‘OLYBOB TOP’ *TALK* (2PM)
Co-creators Leigh Hodkinson and Steve Smith reveal their journey from children’s books to their brand new animated CBeebies series Olobob Top.
